Recent PR and Media Campaigns
Sarah designed and led a twitter based organ donation awareness campaign Save Jess in partnership with the charity Live Life Then Give Life. The campaign won the support of over 50 celebrities, including: Prime Minister's wife, Sarah Brown; singer, Beverley Knight; presenter and comedian, Jonathan Ross and pop star Natalie Imbruglia. The campaign soon caught the attention of the national media and was featured in The Daily Mirror and on Sky News Online and BBC Northampton Radio, among others.
The campaign was followed by a 'Save Jess-tival' a benefit gig held in Shoreditch, East London to raise awareness of organ donation. Sarah organised for Natalie Imbruglia, comedians Ed Byrne and Glen Wool and rising pop duo The Yeah You's to give their time playing at the gig and handled the PR. The event was featured in local and national media such as The Daily Mirror, News of The World, The Evening Standard, Sky and BBC News (TV and online).
Sarah worked with Live Life Then Give Life again in designing and managing a very busy media campaign during Christmas 2009.
Sarah's media releases resulted in 75 stories in local newspapers, radio and TV news and The Daily Mirror. The rate of press releases resulting in stories was 94%, nearly 10% above the charity's average.
